Description
YETI SnowMX rail sliders (aka hyfax/hi-fax/graphite slides).
Item notes: Note these are singles - IE if you're doing both rails you will need to buy qty 2.
Inspect/Replace notes: You should visually inspect your sliders every couple rides or so. There is a line along the length of the sliders to indicate wear - if this line is less than 1/16" (1.5mm) or so from the bottom of the slider at any point along the slider (typically sliders wear out most under the curved section of the rail), I would suggest they should be replaced - if the slider fully wears out, metal-on-metal contact between the rail and the track clips can result in $$$ irrepairable damage to the track and/or rails. Checking/maintaining proper track tension is another important factor.
Depending on the amount of trail riding you do and the condition of the trail/snow, sliders might last between 30-60 hours of riding (or even less if you spend more than a few minutes straight with no lubrication/cooling going to the sliders, for instance on hard-packed ice or spring gravel).
Fitment notes: This part fits every Yeti model to date (and most Timbersleds and MTN.TOP!). Note that 126 kits use 129 sliders. Note also that 120 sliders are not technically stocked here, but it's just a couple minutes' work to cut any other length to length.
FAQ: What is a C3 Yeti "Service kit"?
A: Everything you need to "do it once, do it right" for the common inspect/replace maintenance tasks on your Yeti, with a focus on simplicity and quick-ship convenience!
- Placing a C3 order anyways and know you'll need to refresh your ski pivot soon (for example)? Skip the digging through parts diagrams, we've done it for you - just add to cart! (Or call your local YETI SnowMX dealer, they should have all this in stock as well.)
- Looking for more specific advice on a bigger upgrade/repair/bike swap/etc? We suggest to stick with your local Yeti dealer.
FAQ: Why do you have ABC but not XYZ?
A: We had to draw the line somewhere haha! These items/kits cover the top 30(ish) most common part numbers, which account for roughly 50% of all Yeti parts needs. While we'd love to serve the other half of you too, for any of those hundreds of less-popular items, it's probably a better fit to get in touch with your local YETI SnowMX dealer anyways! If that's not possible for some reason, everything's on c3powersports.com/yeti and yetisnowmx.ca
FAQ: Can I order only the X and Y from this, but NOT the whole Service Kit?
A: Sorry no, the kits are pre-packaged and inventory-managed - having to dig through them would largely defeat the purpose outlined above. Further, based on our decade of experience we know the kits we've come up with are quite logical to keep your Yeti running its best - example, you shouldn't want to replace only 1 bearing at a time anyways. Besides, the overall kit costs are all very fair - it's not like we're jacking things up with $200 of items that you don't need.
